Austrade and the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, with assistance from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has developed a new online guide for Australian fresh fruit and vegetable exporters.
Fresh fruit and vegetable export requirements: A guide for Australian business aims to ensure Australian growers are aware of and comply with key export requirements and regulations, so they may have a safe and smooth export experience.
The guide:
• describes the three main export stages—Preparation, Shipping and In-Market—and the requirements that may need to be considered and met for each stage
• provides an overview of the pathways to market for exporters of fresh fruit and vegetables
• includes links to key regulations, guidelines, and export documents and templates.
Read the new online guide or contact Austrade for more information.
