the Australia India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) briefing


The Australia India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) entered into force on 29 December 2022.

Austrade and DFAT are hosting a virtual briefing session to help you get the most out of ECTA and outcomes in India.

This will be an opportunity to:

hear directly from the DFAT negotiator and Austrade’s Agribusiness Trade Commissioner for South Asia

unpack what ECTA means and how you can access the tariff reductions and outcomes

understand the commercial opportunities and on the ground realities of doing business in India.
